Sophia - Reprise Crescendo in "Absolute Giganten"

"Absolute Giganten" is a German motion picture from 1998. It's about three blokes (Floyd, Rico and Walter) who go out for their last night together before Floyd leaves the country in order to work on a container ship. The movie contains a lot of funny as well as sad stories and one of the best footages of foosball I've ever seen.

The soundtrack features music from The Notwist, Sophia and Egoexpress amongst other great artists. However my favourite song is “Reprise Crescendo” from “Sophia” from below movie clip.

“The first thing I remember is how I received a sparkler from my mother on New Year’s Eve. The sky was full of sparkling and exploding fireworks, which was deafening. But I wasn’t afraid. Instead I held my sparkler up into the dark sky and shook it like mad. I shook it as hard as I could or maybe even harder – close to being unconscious. I was small – so was the sparkler. But it was the greatest, most unbelievable experience I had so far. The biggest thing on earth – and I was a part of it! Without knowing – without knowing anything – I believe that I never did something with so much enthusiasm and without compromise in my life. I believe that I never experienced something that big and gigantic as this in my whole life.”

“By the way, what time is it?”
