Miss Kittin and The Hacker

"Miss Kittin" (Caroline Hervé) was born in 1973 in Grenoble, France. She is one of the most advanced DJanes, vocalists and producers in the field of Electroclash. After having been around as a DJane for a couple of years she teamed up with her partner "The Hacker" (Michel Amato) in 1996/97.

Their first hit was the single "1982" released in 1998, strongly relating to "Kraftwerk's" 80's synthie electronic sound. Miss Kittin's trademark is her cold rap-like singing with her distinct French accent.

Other popular singles include their cover of German alternative rock band "Tocotronic" - "Freiburg", the 2001 single "Stock Exchange" and her collaboration with "Golden Boy" (Swiss Stefan Altenburger) resulting in 2002's "Rippin Kittin".

On 27th March 2009, "Miss Kitten & The Hacker" released their new album "Two", which includes below single "1000 Dreams". The LP title is explained quite simple as it is the second time that the couple came up with a joint album since their debut album called "First Album" in 2001 (one has to admit that creativity is not their strength, when it comes to album titles).
